Here's how it works:
All email into and out of your business will
flow through OnNet's gateway mail servers running the Reflexion software.
Each pop mailbox for your domain will have a
Reflexion user account created for them.
Known senders should be added to each user's
whitelist or the company-wide whitelist. If you use Outlook, download this utility,
which will automatically extract your address book and sent items, and import those
addresses to your whitelist on Reflexion.
Inboxes protected by Reflexion are brought
through a transition from "no security" to "flag mode" and finally to
the hands-free "Total Control" security state.
Messages delivered to user in-boxes
protected by Reflexion have a small "control panel" at the bottom of every
email, which gives the user information about the sender and allows them to interact with
the Reflexion server by clicking on simple intuitive propositions. (Only you see the
control panel, not the people you correspond with).
End User Control
"If Reflexion's gateway server interdicts messages before they reach my domain, will
my users have any control?"
Yes, all end users will be able to control
their own definition of security using Reflexion's Message Center. Rather than being
responsible for keeping up with the myriads of tricks that senders of spam use, your
employees or customers will simply be able to indicate how strict or sensitive they would
like Reflexion to be. You start in "pass through" mode, then advance to
"flag" mode, and finally to the hands-free "Total Control" mode. Each
user will have individual logins for their own mailbox on the Reflexion server.
